Dr. Andrea Sparzo earned her B.S. in Biology from Indiana University and went on to graduate with honors from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.
After graduating, she spent 5 years at a busy emergency and referral veterinary hospital in Indianapolis, where she gained valuable experience treating, diagnosing, and caring for a wide variety of challenging cases.
In 2008, she met her husband and, longing to be close to the mountains, moved out west. She spent another 8 years as an associate veterinarian and medical manager at a busy and demanding 24-hour clinic in the valley. Her special interests include abdominal ultrasound, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and cancer treatment. She is also very experienced in a wide array of soft tissue surgeries.
In her free time, Dr. Sparzo loves mountain biking, hiking, and traveling. She lives with her wonderful husband, her beautiful young son and daughter, two spoiled dogs, and a funny house rabbit that likes to run around with the dogs.
